Baby Brasserie
Alison and Shelly are running our Sandy brasserie session at Sandy Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoons 1-2.30pm to offer support for breastfeeding mums and mums to be. Please contact Alison or Shelly to find out more or drop into the session.
Karen is running our Biggleswade Brasserie session at Biggleswade Youth Centre on Thursday afternoons 1.30-3pm. Please contact Karen for more information or drop into the session.

Baby Massage
A four week course designed to introduce you and your baby to the wonderful benefits of baby massage, in a calm and supportive environment.
Suitable for families with babies 0-6 months old.
The next course is:
13th May 1.30-2.30pm
at Biggleswade Youth Centre.
Booking is essential so please contact Kirsty to book your space.
As of January 2022, there is a small fee of £20 to secure your place for baby massage.
Rhyme Time
Kirsty is running a fun singing session for babies 0-12 months on a Thursday afternoon 1.30-2.30pm at Biggleswade Youth Centre

Bumps, Birth and Baby
Here at the Children's Centre run antenatal classes virtually via Microsoft Teams alongside the Baby Friendly Team. These classes are run on a Wednesday.
If you are 32+ weeks pregnant please contact Lucy for more information or please register on Eventbrite to book your free space. Please click on the course dates below and these will take you to the Eventbrite booking pages - please note that booking doesn't open until two months prior to the course start date.

If you are unable to attend a Bumps, birth and Baby (BBB) with our Children's Centre, there are other Centers in Central Bedfordshire running BBB on different dates and times so please get in touch so we can help you find the most appropriate session for you.

Baby Days
Baby days is now running face to face for five weeks in both Sandy and Biggleswade. Baby days is a lovely course for new parents and babies 0-3 months that covers: Sleep, feeding, brain development and childhood illnesses.

Dad and me is now being run at Robert Peel Primary School in their lovely Forest School Garden on the 1st Saturday of each month.

Parents and First Teachers
Parents as First Teachers (PaFT) is
is a voluntary, early intervention programme for parents of children pre-birth to three years of age.
Parents as First Teachers goals are to increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and improve parenting practices.
Intentions of PaFT Programme:

Parent child interaction, Child Development, Parenting Behaviours.

Development centered parenting – attachment, sleep, safety, health, nutrition, discipline, transitions.

Family well-being – Goal setting, resourcing and family needs, mental health, relationships.

Women’s support group for those that are
experiencing low mood or anxiety. It is a safe
space to express your emotions and be heard.

Play session focused on physical development and
school readiness. Age 0-5 Includes a baby area.
